A true beauty to behold, this original 1950's micro beaded evening bag, rendered in the smallest gold glass beads, accented by small crewel work embroidery stitches of blooming flowers along the front and reverse of the bag, is the perfect piece to add to your vintage collection. The rectangular shape of the bag, boasts a wide beaded base, and a matching bead covered handle, which frames the full length lift lock frame. The elegant frame of the bag, is set off by trailing floral painted enamel details, intricately surrounded with gold micro beaded work, pearlescent beadwork , finish with lilac and white beadwork, creating an opulent floral statement. The bag opens to a large central satin lined compartment, with a small side pocket.

Condition: In near perfect vintage condition. Light and gentle bead loss along the base of one side of the handle. Gentle tarnishing and vers de gris along the lift lock clasp, this is only apparent where some of the pearlescent beads are missing and along the metal hardware edges.
